The Fifth Grade Drawing
Before the shirts, before the websites, before the ice cream truck, there was one drawing in art class.
Before a T shirt existed, before a website existed, before a blog existed, before the ice cream truck ever rolled down the block, it was a first hand drawing in an art class in fifth grade.
I did not know you could start a business. Nobody told me that a character on notebook paper could become a brand. I just knew that when I drew, the room got quiet in a good way and something inside me finally matched something outside of me.
That drawing is still the seed of everything here. Crave Happy Clothing is what that kid wears. Crave Happy Universe is where that kid lives. Same hand. Same story. One brand.
